Recorded during the Summer of 2001 in Searcy, Arkansas and Shreveport, Louisiana, On a Wire (ANYTIME) represents the first full-length collaboration between Jay and Richard Hunter-Rivera of The Moviegoers. Armed with a pair of laptops, a couple beat boxes, some cheap microphones, a synthesizer, various guitars, and an air conditioner, the duo put in 16 hour days of music making for three weeks, and this is a record of what happened. By the way, don't ever go to Arkansas in July.
