Recorded in Robert Hunter-Rivera's bedroom over a three week period spanning 2001-2002, Exploring Fantasies was in some ways both a departure and a return to form for Raśl Picaporte. He had just criss-crossed the USA with a bastard muse, and had many a song bottled up to show as a result. Distorted riffs, abused woodwinds, metal pots'n'pans, alarm clocks, and cheesy synths adorn this evocative record, oh and Raśl and his guitar too!
